Often secretive and protective of their techniques, they created the sounds that others are asked to emulate. In 1989 Tomas Skogsberg defined the sound of Swedish Death Metal, and to this day artists go to him to get that sound. Australian guitarist Joe Matera travelled to Sweden to be recorded by the reclusive Skogsberg, and captured this rare interview.
