A Word from the Editor
A YEAR LATER • There I was, nestled into the tussock and picking up a few deer in the adjacent creek heads and gullies, warming themselves in the first rays of light. I had my eyes on a young stag on the other side of a basin and I watched as he fed his way across a shaded creek head. He wasn’t quite what I was after though so I continued my search for a more mature animal
SIKA Success • I’d barely finished my sentence when a stag let out a loud single call just a couple of hundred metres down the spur we were on. The hunt was back on!
