Moves Magazine is a lifestyle magazine for city women (and men), unafraid to ask hard questions. We take on social, political, and global topics and show how women are shaping the world we live in today. Written with a progressive vibe, the magazine offers a provocative, often polemic view of society; an askance look at the world we live in.

Better Than Human • Enhancement isn’t new. Human beings have already developed impressive enhancements. In fact, the ability to enhance ourselves may be part of what makes humans different from other animals. Literacy and numeracy are dramatic cognitive enhancements, as are computers and the internet. Science is a kind of collective cognitive enhancement.

CHARGED • “…BUT YOUNG PEOPLE DO RASH AND IMPULSIVE THINGS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY’RE UNDER PRESSURE. THEY TEND TO BELIEVE NOTHING TRULY TERRIBLE WILL EVER BEFALL THEM, AND EVEN THOUGH KEVIN HAD A RAP SHEET, HE DIDN’T THINK OF HIMSELF AS SOMEONE WHO WOULD GET INTO SERIOUS TROUBLE WITH THE LAW…”
