A New Spatial Grammar for Fashion Shows: The Ground of Non-Contact Fashion-Presentation • Everything has changed marked by Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19). While this profound change was unexpected, the fashion industry made rapid adjustments and came up with a new proposition. Fashion weeks held in major cities around the world have migrated online through fashion film, look-book, and live streaming. A radical change in emphasis was also introduced to the runway space, as the background of the fashion show. The site of this particular architectural experiment is the focus of this feature. It examines the history and trend in fashion shows as narrated by two professionals in fashion as well as the descriptions of six fashion shows as viewed from the perspectives of six professionals in architecture.
