Fostering a habit of gratitude • Bishop Michael J. Sis is the sixth bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Angelo, Texas. He was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Austin in 1986 and served in various roles as a priest in that diocese for more than 27 years. He was ordained and installed as bishop of San Angelo in 2014. He oversees the Catholic Church in 29 counties in West Texas, covering an area of 37,433 square miles.
